変化: At the annual year-end party at the dojo, Danielle announced that, after 36 years, she was retiring as the head of the Aikido of Monterey dojo and was turning it over to three of her senior students.  We will continue to practice and teach Aiki arts under our new identity: “One Point Center”.

🌲🚙🚌 For Christmas we returned to the Cotillion Gardens RV Park so we could be close to family and friends during the holidays.  We spent Christmas evening with our close friend, Linda Holiday, at her home in nearby Santa Cruz.
On the first day of Christmas our dear friends came to see 😊 ...
Rita and Jordan, who were vacationing from Panama, stopped in for an overnight visit, staying in one of the Cotillion cabins.
On the second day of Christmas, Colin, Jaclyn, Aria, Kara, Brennan, and baby Keeva visited us for a day.  We enjoyed watching the grandkids open up the presents we brought.  The next day our friends, Cathy and Nicki, Alex and Nancy came by for a few hours, which we mostly spent hiking through the redwoods in the adjacent Henry Cowell State Park.  Then, later that evening, Tom and Marilyn Read dropped in with their RV for one night.  We stayed at Cotillion through New Years Eve, hiking to the "Garden of Eden" (see photo below), and enjoying our short break before the busy times ahead in 2019.

Wishing everyone Love, Peace, and Happiness in abundance for 2019.
Love,
Michael & Danielle
